No... It's READING ACTION PROGRAM Campaign which is an international project by Lions Clubs International.

How bout Native Children?

They are children (Orang Asli) from Native Village's Rumah Kebajikan Warisan Setia Damai, Kuantan (Orang Asli Centre) which located near Sungai Soi after Tanjung Lumpur, Kuantan. It took about 20 minutes to reach there.

We enjoyed teaching them the way to read and write. Firstly, we taught them alphabets in Capital letter then Small letter. After that, we taught them counting mathematics with some simple calculations. Then, we taught them some simple daily-use English sentences. They jot down everything in their notebook we bought for them.

Last but not least, we also prepared UPSR Trial Exam Papers of Pahang and Penang as well as Kelantan States' for the children who sitting their UPSR this year. So well we taught them and explained the format as well as answering tips.

Under the leadership of Leo Charles Ng, the Organizing Chairperson, the project was carried out successfully and smoothly done. We planned to carry out this project regularly to help out those children there.

Earth Hour 60+

Earth Hour 60+ project falls on March, 31 every year. This is a meaningful project yet created awareness among people all around the world on this serious issue - Switch OFF lights when not in use. Here is a video by Omega Leo Club of Kuantan for Earth Hour 60+ Awareness Project.

Leo Joint Beach Cleaning-Up Campaign

Venue: Teluk Chempedak Beach, Kuantan

The Leo Club of Kuantan (O) had organized a Leo Joint Beach Cleaning-Up Campaign on the 10 March which is one day after the Formation Night. 7 Leo Clubs joined our campaign and made it a successful one. They are Leo Clubs from District 308 B1, Malaysia, namely Leo Club of SM Tanah Putih, Leo Club of SMK Air Putih, Leo Club of SMK Kepong Baru, Leo Club of SM Cochrane, Leo Club of KL Untiy (O) and Leo Club of INTI International University (O) as well as Leo Club of Petaling Jaya Integrity (O) from District B2, Malaysia. We gathered at 8.45am to distribute the gloves and garbage bags. Then we started the campaign at 9.00am. After 2 hours of hard work under the sun, we managed to clean up the beach. ROAR!

"The FIRST project by Omega Leo Club of Kuantan! ROAR!"

Formation Night of Omega Leo Club of Kuantan, Initiation of Club Members and Installation of President and Board of Directors

The newly formed baby, Omega Leo Club of Kuantan in District 308 B1, Malaysia had organized the Formation Night to charter the formation of newly formed Leo Club as well as inducting new Omega club members and installing new Board of Directors. We started the event at 7.30pm. A total of 15 LIONs and 80 LEOs from District 308 B1 to B2, attended this auspicious night.

The night started after the meeting was called to order by our Presiding Officer, Lion Kevin Fong, and then followed by the singing of national anthem and the recital of the Leo Pledge. After the introduction and recognition of Lions Dignitaries, Lions and Leos, dinner was served. Next, it was the summit of the night where the initiation and installation ceremony of new members and Board of Directors, together with the handing over ceremony of Certificate of Organization, Leo Gong and Gavel, Chain of Office and Leo club Banner.

The founding president, LEO Zu Jian gave his inaugural speech and shared his feelings to the crowd with his success. After that, there were group photo shooting and presentation of souvenirs. Then, the meeting was adjourned by our sponsoring Lions Club President, Lion Kevin Fong.

Lastly, we had several performances and lucky draw session to entertain the crowd after the formal ceremony. Everyone had fun! At 11.00pm, the night ended. It was a successful night after all.
