The newly formed baby, Omega Leo Club
of Kuantan in District 308 B1, Malaysia had organized the Formation Night to charter the formation of newly formed
Leo Club as well as inducting new Omega club members and installing new Board of Directors. We started the event at 7.30pm. A total of 15 LIONs and 80 LEOs from District 308 B1
to B2, attended this auspicious night.
The night
started after the meeting was called to order by our Presiding Officer, Lion
Kevin Fong, and then
followed by the singing of national anthem and the recital of the Leo Pledge. After
the introduction and recognition of Lions Dignitaries, Lions and Leos, dinner was served. Next,
it was the summit of the night where the initiation and installation ceremony of new members
and Board of Directors, together with the handing over ceremony of Certificate of
Organization, Leo Gong and Gavel, Chain of Office and Leo club Banner.
The founding
president, LEO Zu Jian gave his inaugural speech and shared his feelings to the crowd with his
success. After that, there were group photo shooting and presentation of souvenirs.
Then, the meeting was adjourned by our sponsoring Lions Club President, Lion Kevin Fong.
Lastly, we had
several performances and lucky draw session to entertain the crowd after the formal ceremony. Everyone had fun! At 11.00pm, the night ended. It was a successful night after all.
